Campaign Story

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our fundraising campaign. My name is Kenna, and my husband Haris and I are young professionals living in Burlington, Vermont. Haris is a barber and I work for the State of Vermont.

We have always wanted to be parents, and are finally at a point in our lives where we feel ready to begin the journey towards parenthood. A part of that journey for us includes using sperm donations to conceive. We are more than willing and ready to do whatever it takes to start our family.

While we are incredibly lucky to have stable employment, the cost of sperm donation averages at about $1,900 a vial, which when put into the context of trying for a baby, becomes a financial cost that would take us years to save for responsibly.

Haris and I both know that we were always meant to be parents, and we hope that with support from a Gift of Parenthood campaign, that dream can come true for us soon. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
